I am listing a 1928 Essex Super Six Sedan from my father's collection. He purchased this car approximately ten years ago, and drove and enjoyed it for several years. It has been in dry storage for the last five years and not started during that time. He has been collecting solid, original antique cars for over 40 years. This Essex is a complete, unrestored original that is rust-free. The interior is the original mohair upholstery that is intact but worn. The mechanical brakes work as they should. The engine is sound and did not smoke when parked. The wood spoke wheels are all in excellent condition. This car is 100% complete including the original owner's manual. It also comes with all the invoices from the engine rebuild 400 miles ago. The vinyl top was replaced by the previous owner and is excellent. All the glass is good and the windows roll up and down as they should. This car could be back on the road with very little effort. Cars of this caliber are increasingly hard to come by and are good investments. We feel the reserve price is several thousand dollars below the cars value. Please call my father Wayne with any questions at 865-992-2918.
