Description of 1957 Other Makes Minx

1957 Hillman Minx convertible. This car is a very solid project. The car has a California black plate still attached to the front and every indication is it was originally from CA. This car is really very nice. Very little rust and no panels need to be replaced. just minor repairs. The only items I see missing are both front and rear seats and both carburetors. I believe the motor still turns over and it's stuck in gear because somebody. for whatever reason. removed the transmission crossmember. letting the trans drop and putting the linkage in a bind. My intention was to install a V-8 and make a hot rod out of it. Since the car weighs little. it would be fun with any modern engine/trans combo. The top bows appear to be all present. You'll just need a lot of WD40 to free things up. All glass seems to be intact and in good shape. For those concerned because it did not have a title - A new and clear title will be applied for this week. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
