You are bidding on a 1931 Oakland V8 4 Door Sedan that was in storage almost fifty years. This was the last year for Oakland before becoming Pontiac Division of GM. Wood framing is solid and doors are still lined up and solid. This vehicle has a small surface rust spot below the right side cowl where it meets the running board apron. There is no rust out anywhere on the body and it is straight. Car was repainted in the fifties and the paint has chipped off leaving spots of rust colored primer. Look closely at the photos and you will see that. Has all five hubcaps and they just need to be cleaned up. No tears or dents on these hard to find hubcaps. Interior is serviceable and seats are really nice for being original. A roll of new mohair is included. Headliner above drivers seat was opened up to remove a small varmint. Not a serious issue and can be tacked back up. Fenders are in primer and have no rust, tears, or dents. Included is the original freshly rebuilt engine and trans. Top is original and does not leak but I would recommend replacing it when painting the car. While there is not much chrome on this car, what chrome there is needs re-chroming. Nothing is missing. Headlights and fender lights are decent. Tires need to be replaced and I have four new old stock tires that go with it.. I am in the process of installing the engine now. Car needs some TLC and normal maintenance. Delivery possible or can be picked up but car is being sold as is, where is. Don't expect a car you can drive home if purchased. I will guarantee that it runs when picked up or delivered. Understand also that beside needing paint and chrome, things such as dash, gas tank, wiring, etc.need attention. I just wanted a driver, not a show car and I have too many projects to give this the attention it deserves.. If your a tire kicker, don't waste your or my time. This is a fundamentally sound car well worth the price. Cars is for sale locally and offers have been made so I reserve the right to remove this ad if sold locally.
