1925 Franklin Model 10 open touring car. This is a wonderful example of an air cooled, well built, Franklin open touring car. It is hard to find the open body Franklins, especially the Model 10 with the "horse collar" front end. This car was in long term storage for 30 years. I bought it from a chap in Denmark and had it shipped over here. Then went thru it and woke it up after a long sleep. It runs like a champ and purrs so nice. Toured with it last summer in Maine. Drive 45-50mph all day. Franklins are great cars. Built well and the air cooled engine is a marvel of engineering. Older restoration, I think the late 1970's. Paint is still good. Interior is good. Wood is all in great shape. Brakes, clutch great. Starts easily. All there. All gauges work. No clock, did not come with one. Top is there but needs attention. VIN 1512331. Selling as I need the room. Car is stored at my place in Maine. I will store for you until you can arrange pickup. Sold as is-where is. Call 207-286-5483 for more info.
