Description of 1953 Other Makes G80

Hello Peterbilt fans.

The Beverly Hills Rat Rod

If you have been looking for one of the nicest 1953 Peterbilt Custom Rods in the Country look no further. This beautiful Peterbilt Custom Hotrod has over $100,000 invested in time and parts. This beautiful car has won every car show it has been in. The 1949 Buick Roadmaster 320 ci Straight 8 with the 4 Holley S&S Carbs put out over 300 HP!!! Now for those of you that know about straight 8's in 1949 put out about 150 HP. When you put $25,000 to $30,000 into a straight 8 this is what you get.

This Hotrod has a 200 R4 Tranny and a Real NASCAR Tiger quick change Rear end. Everything on this truck is 1 off custom built there is nothing like it in the Country. This truck has Not been Chopped. This Pickup has been sectioned 9" and Channeled 5" The Dayton powder coated Wire Wheels 18.5" Front and 20.10" rear really look great on this pickup.

If you are into head turners this is the Hotrod for you. When this car is out in the public it turns heads like you have never seen before. Everything about this Custom Rod is beautiful, the lines, paint job, Interior it has it all. This Peterbilt is a true California pickup. Have you ever been to a car show where someone fires up a nice sounding ride everyone gathers around that car just to here the engine run? Well this Hotrod is one of those cars. The beautiful sound that blasts out of the exhaust pipes is something words can not explain.

A complete 2 year build was completed on this Hotrod 2 years ago since then there has been less than 1000 miles put on the truck. This Peterbilt is like new. This Rod is breathtaking to say the least.

Here is a brief history on this nice machine. A close friend of mine bought this unrestored 1953 Peterbilt pickup in 2013 where it sat for 30 plus years behind Nino's bar in Modesto Ca. Wade finished this car in 2015 then he took her to several shows in California where it won every show it entered. You will see a picture of this car before and after in one of my pictures. The picture is the original owner standing by this truck. This gentleman has owned this truck since 1953 and drove it for years.

My good friend Wade Bozarth unexpectedly passed away last year and his wife is having me sell this one of a kind piece of art work. Wade was a local legend in our area. Almost everyone that is into Classic cars knows Wade Bozarth. Wade was a perfectionist he cut no corners. Wades cars would stand out at shows. Wade has built some of the finest cars and engines out there and there are several engines still running in Classic cars in our area today.

Just to give you an example last year before he passed away I was visiting him while I was in his shop he was grinding a set of rings for a big block Chevy for one of his customers. He told me he spends 8 hours on his small ring grinder just to get the gaps absolutely perfect on a set of rings. I realize this info does not pertain to this Hotrod however it will hopefully give you an idea the craftsmanship and time that went into this car. Wade could not have finished this awesome Peterbilt without help from other skilled professionals.

Steve Pattee a local Hot rod builder in Modesto California. Steve custom built the tube chassis and the custom Sheetmetal on this car. The quality of fine work Steve did on this Hotrod is second to none. I would like to extend a special thanks to Steve for helping me with all the details on this truck. I could not have written this ad without his help.

Almost everything on this truck is Custom built and one of a kind this is one of the finest 1953 Peterbilt's in the country in my opinion when you see her in person you will agree.

I'm also selling Wades 1950 Mercury with a 477 Ci Donovan engine putting out 700 HP. If you would like another example of Wade's craftsmanship please check out my other Auction. This Merc will blow your mind!!!

This car has so many goodies that I will have to list everything below. There is over $100,000 invested in this ride with about $25,000 to $30,000 in the engine alone.

I have over 100 more pictures of this fine automobile and a really cool Video of her running. If you would like to see more pictures please feel free to email me dsbad76@aol.com or Call me anytime 209-595-6680
