Description of 1975 Ford F-150 Custom |
1975 Ford F150 Pickup Truck Custom (named by mfg. "custom" Vintage 390 4 Barrel (larger motor option)
My 80 year old dad bought this truck from the original owner. He was tinkering with it until he had health problems. He sold it to me, but I do not really do anything with it. Dad had it painted. I don't know why because it looked pretty good! He had the a/c changed to 134A and had a new a/c compressor installed. A/c has leaked down from last year, so it has a leak somewhere. I think the original interior is in Excellent condition.I have driven this truck several times 50 - 70 miles in a day with no problem. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Interior has no rips or tears - In my opinion Excellent condition. Dash is in Excellent Condition. Instead of carpeting it has a mat, we Think it is original floor board option - but not sure.Replaced factory carburator with an Edelbrock carburator.Needs a battery hold down bracket - as you can see in photo of engine; AND A cowl windlace (rubber gasket that goes on the firewall). Also see the Please see the photos of the Obvious Chips and Dent. There are other fine light finish scratches, scuffs on the body of the vehicle as well as the interior - Such as the chrome has some light surface "pitting". Missing 2 center caps on the back wheel covers, at least one of which example is shown. This is a listing for a family member. I will relay any questions and answer "verbatim" the answer. This is their Rating Information on his observations. He is not expert and this is a simple layperson's personal opinion only. Buyer should rely on his/her own inspecdtion especially given the price - and consider hiring someone if not planning on personally picking up. In my opinion rating is Mint - Excellent - Very Good - Good - Fair - UnusableExcellent means in my opinion, conditions as shown and described PLUS condition is exceeding that of similar vehicles PLUS fine scratches, scruffs, etc. - i.e., not kept in showroom. Also in the motor dept on back wall - by a part I did see some surface light rust. Your Inspection is Encouraged. my assessment can not be wholly relied on because I am a layperson.Buyer is responsible for shipping plus any safety or other inspections, and sales taxes as may be required by State. |
