This 1968 Mustang was traded to us for a late-model Corvette. While I won't hold myself out to be an expert on early Mustangs, this one looks pretty darn nice to me. It appears to be a real J-code (302 4bbl) car that was sold originally here in Atlanta (or through the Atlanta sales office). It's been repainted, quite well, in the original Candy Apple Red. The interior is beautiful in black (originally dark red). I can't find any rust. It has factory air, power top (the soft top is fresh, too), and runs and drives as good as one of these ever did. I have a shoebox full of receipts I haven't gone through yet. FWIW, the previous owner believes the mileage to be correct and I don't have any reason to doubt it. It's pretty darn nice. :)
