Another fine Pre-War classic from the CEDAR CROSSING COLLECTION of James Cousens in Clarkston, Michigan. This classic 1914 Cartercar has wonderful provenance...during the 1960's, it was in the Harrah's Classic CarCollection Museum. The only Friction-Drive Transmission vehicle in the whole collection. Since the museum closed, it's had only threeother owners. It's been maintained in it's original Restoration Condition from the 1950's. All past owners have left the un-polished brass and trims in the "aged" dull brass oxidized condition. To polish them would simply ruin the entire ambiance and vintage appearance. The Paint Patina looks fantastic, at first glance, one would think it was the "original" factory paint. The Black Leather is in outstandingcondition...not cracked or worn in any fashion. Tires are fine...and the engine starts right up, and performs extremely well. The Friction-Drive is not only "Rare"... but is super easy to operate. Smooth and no grinding of mechanical gears. Just a terrific vintage treasure from 106yrs ago.
