This 1990 Countach is one of just 658 examples of the 25th Anniversary edition built from 1988 to 1990 While the breathtaking lines of the original scissor-doored Countach came from the drawing board of legendary Bertone designer Marcello Gandini, it was Horacio Pagani, an engineer at Lamborghini at the time, who came up with the body design modifications for the 25th Anniversary version. Pagani specified carbon and Kevlar body panels, fin-straked sill extensions, and mid-positioned air intakes-at more of an angle-with long slats on top, all to improve aerodynamics and increase cooling airflow to that big V-12. This particular car is especially rare on account of having it's iconic 5.2-liter V-12 fitted with six Weber downdraft carburetors, as opposed to the more common fuel-injection configuration. For the 25th Anniversary variant, the Bizzarrini-designed 12-cylinder engine-with those Weber downdraft carbs-was rated at 449 hp. That was a 35 hp increase over the fuel-injected versions that came stateside. According to magazine road tests at the time, the carbureted Countach could run from zero to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 183 mph, making it one of the fastest supercars of its day. Also adding to the notable nature of this example is the fact that it has the rarely seen "Rear Wing Delete" option making it a more-desirable, full Euro-spec specimen. This on top of having only 363KMs (255 Miles)and being in "Concourse Condition" make this example of the iconic 25th anniversary the best one available for sale. This Countach is a two-owner car. First in a private collection in the middle east (for 28 years) then sold to a private collector in Monaco where it was in that collection until 3/2023. This Lamborghini is in unbelievable condition. Please look at the under-side photos where the original factory grease marks are still there. Also look at the photos of the interior showing the original white plastic on the driver's side interior kick plate. This 25th Anniversary is literally still in the plastic. Even the jack is in the original factory plastic. From the first day of ownership until today this car has been cared for and stored as the ultimate collectible. Always maintained and stored in a climate-controlled facility. When we received this motorcar earlier this year we had a complete service and PPI completed. Upon completion of the PPI, we rectified any of the small outstanding issues. Please feel free to reach out for a copy of the complete PPI and the service repair bill documenting the completed work. The completed service included an engine oil filter change, differential flush and fluid change, transmission fluid change and the AC charged. The completed PPI included trunk struts, replaced a bulb for the driver's side turn signal and a new battery. After completing PPI and service the vehicle was transported to a detail specialist (specializing in Ferrari and Lamborghini motorcars) where he performed a complete detail. This 25th Anniversary Countach is serviced and detailed and ready to be included in even the most discerning collection. Absolutely flawless in every way and in our opinion a phenomenal opportunity to appreciate substantially over the coming years. Please feel free to call or text with any questions at 561-445-5093.
