Description of 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe

1941 CHEVROLET COUPE — all-steel 1941 Chevrolet body. The roof has been chopped and the car is finished in Viper Red, which is in excellent condition. The doors and trunk have no handles and are electrically activated (key fob). The antenna retracts automatically when the radio is powered down. The car has a very long, low, sleek appearance.

The 1941 mechanicals have all been replaced with modern components. Power is a 350 Chevrolet V8, with a 4-barrel, Crane cam and Hooker headers, GM automatic transmission, Camaro rear, modern GM brakes. Electric fan and fuel pump.

The interior has power seats, power windows and door locks, Pioneer radio/CD/MP3, VDO gauges, and *air conditioning*. And it's comfortable to sit in, even for a tall person.

The car does need a little TLC. The body is beautiful, but the chrome trim along the bottom of the passenger side got bent; a brand new NOS 1941 trim (expensive) will be included in the sale. The air conditioning needs diagnosis; the entire system came from Old Air Products and all parts are readily available if needed. Front brake calipers and pads replaced recently, but the system needs to be properly bled and adjusted. And a number of small things need to be taken care of.
