1981 Volkswagen VW Rabbit Diesel LS 4 Door 4 Speed

1981 VW Rabbit Diesel LS. Engine is in excellent condition. Body is good with no rust (southern car). Interior is in very good condition. Paint is probably a 6 out of 10 but looks very good beyond 20 feet. New front struts, rebuilt injection pump, new fuel tank, replacement cylinder head, rebuilt injectors, new glow plugs, new motor mounts, new shifter bushings, Sony aftermarket CD radio, power antenna, power front windows, headliner replaced several years ago, new front grill, new washer pumps front and rear, new timing belt and tensioner, new cam, main, and aux. shaft seals. Car starts and runs very well. Tires have good tread but are over 8 years old. All new filters (air, fuel, and oil). Air conditioning is complete and compressor is good but the system has not been recharged in several years. It has NOT been converted from R-12. An electric fuel pump was added in the rear (safety enabled by oil pressure) to preclude laborious priming procedures in the event the car is run out of fuel. Car has never been MODDED or altered from factory specs (except for the rear fuel pump, front power windows, and a power antenna). An aftermarket cruise control was installed (with an AUDI turn signal lever) but it does not presently work. Please message any questions.
