87 Ford Mustang Foxbody Alcohol Injected Racecar

88 Foxbody drag car with tilt / removable front end. This is a full chassis car, built in the mid 90's. original 5.0 car. It's been sitting inside as part of a collection. The car will need cleaned up & somethings painted to be perfect. It wouldn't take much to get the car down the track. The fuel line needs replaced. Which I have new fuel line that will come with the car. Tires are old, but I do have brand new Hoosier front & rear tires. Front clip is removable, tilts & looks like a funny car front end. The hood & deck lid are fiberglass lift off. Both held on with Dzus fasteners. Cowl on the car has been removed & the firewall has been pushed back. Cage was certified in 1999 by the NHRA. The steering wheel is removable. Toggle switches overhead, with fuel shutoff. Basic old school gauges & electronics. Everything could use updating, but it can also be ran like it is! It runs off of Alcohol! It has a fuel cell in the front. It also has a fuel cell in the trunk if your wanting to run a different style of setup. Aluminum dash, with sheet metal floors. All metal work in the back is aluminum. Battery disconnect and charging is in the back. Disc brakes in the front, Drum in back. 4 link suspension, Narrowed 9 inch with Summers Brothers Axles, sitting on 5 lug Weld Draglites. I have a set of Wilwood front / rear disc brakes that I will include with the car. It also has metal doors with manual windows. I purchased this car a year ago. The man I purchased it from had no info on the car. His step dad had owned it and had passed away. The car was a part of a covered collection. For the price it's listed for your basically paying for a roller and getting a free motor/transmission. Yes the car runs and drives!
