Porsche 917 kit car elite/vw

This is a project, it has been sitting about 9 years. I’m selling for the estate of Dr. I’ve cleaned the gas tank and I have got it running for a few minutes to hear the motor. The carburetor needs an accelerator pump. But might as well rebuild it while there. I have been working on vw for over 30 years . This is a vw kit car. Sitting on a 1965 vw swing axle pan. Pans are solid . 12volt. Car needs I’m sure brake work, carburetor rebuilt . Need tires one is gatored . Needs a battery . I do have a video of the motor running for a few seconds as accelerator pump is bad . It is a single port . What I noticed also throttle cable seems stuck. I’m not sure how any one can drive this seems steering wheel is on your knees . The drs wife said he drove it a few times. The dr has 60 cars . I would assume the seat area would need modified to accommodate more leg room . You are laying in the back seat . This is an elite kit car . The dr bought it new in 1982 as to why title says 1982 laser . Car needs picked up in Lawton Okla. cash when picked up . No deposit needed serious inquiries only .
