Description of 1967 International Harvester Other

This is a 1967 International Loadstar 1600 that would make an excellent restoration piece. The truck originally served as a firetruck in Gunter. Texas back in the 70's and 80's. I don't know exactly how long it's been out of commission. but the tag is from '86. I originally purchased it with the intention of restoring it myself about 3 years ago. but with the years dragging by and the bank account not looking any better I figure I better let it go to a better home. The truck is equipped with a modified front bumper to accommodate a winch. as well as a direct-drive PTO that was used to run the winch and a water pump. There is no significant rust damage to the cab. and the body is straight. Just a lot of surface rust. The engine is a V-8 gasoline powered V-345. There is no carburetor or alternator. and I have never tried to start the engine. According to the original owner the motor was restored about 1. 00 miles before I purchased it. but I have no way to verify that. 24. 75 actual miles.
