Description of 1941 Packard

The car has been restored over the years including; new shocks. brakes. fuel tank. float and lines with 6 volt electric fuel pump. New battery. plugs. filters. oil and greasing of wheel bearings/chasis. Like new radial tires. Clock. horn. interior/exterior lights. windshield wipers and all gauges work. Rechromed bumper. grille and side panels. The doors open and close correctly as well as the windows rolling up and down with ease. Chrome and bright work nice. The trunk is nice with carpet. no rust. Undercarriage clean. coated. painted without rust. Runs and brakes great with tight steering. Minor flaws only in glass. paint and woodgraining. Corners really well and accelerates fast and smooth. clutch tight. 3 speed std transmission. no OD. Packard's first clipper on 127 inch WB with std 282 straight 8. 5 MB. 125 HP Only year Packard had a rectangular dash instrument panel. most unique when compared to the 120 model of same year. 1941 was the first year with the running boards hidden in the doors and headlights in the fenders and the clipper offered only in this model. Very cool pre-war closed Clipper with Darrin influence. I have enjoyed showing and driving it. but loosing the space to keep it. NADA lists average at $21k to high of $37k. I bought the car for $25K and have more then $10K into it.
