Description of 1956 Packard Patrician

I am selling a 1956 Packard Patrician for a friend of mine that has decided to thin his collection. This car is probably the most loaded that I have ever seen. 374 4v. Factory air conditioning. Power locks. power antenna. power windows and seat. torsion level suspension. power steering and brakes. wonder bar radio. He bought this car from a well-known song writer in Amarillo Texas in 2001. He is now the third owner of this car. The car has 20. 44 original miles. Since he has owned it. it has had the following repairs. nbsp; new exhaust and complete brake job. I installed an electric fuel pump to start it easier between startups. He has put less than 1000 miles on the car since he bought it. I have recently done the wheel cylinders. cleaned the gas tank and and oil change. The car runs and stops very well but I wouldn’t trust it on a long trip. There is a rattle like the water pump or an idler pulley is going bad. They are original. I have never tried to charge the a/c but the compressor turns free. The paint is almost waxed off of the car and it is original. As you can see in the pictures. the interior is practically perfect. It still has the dealer installed plastic covers on the front and rear seats as well as the front door panels. If you are looking for a fantastic survivor. than this is it.
