Description of 1953 Packard

1953 Packard Convertible CoupeOlder Restoration... Great Driver!
This is an excellent driving, very smooth running "driver" quality Packard Convertible Coupe that you would still be proud to show off and enjoy at the local car shows. Most would consider the overall presentation that of a "casual" level show car. It looks great from "20 feet" away! It's powered by the super quiet, smooth running nine main bearing straight eight cylinder engine and an automatic(!) transmission. Lot's of power accessories for the year include power steering, brakes, windows, seats, antenna and a newer power top. It has the factory installed Continental Kit and the Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. The undercarriage appears to be very solid (no spray cover ups!). The convertible top is "newer" and the tires are new. This is certainly an older restoration (not a high-level show car), however, it can be used and coveted in its present condition. This Packard convertible has been part of a multiple-car collection. It's time to bring his collection down in size, and that is the reason it's available. Our seller gets behind the wheel of his cars and exercises them when time allows, so it has not suffered from "sitting unused". You'll be proud to own this one too.

We welcome a "Pre-Purchase" inspection prior to the end of the auction and are available to answer questions either by e-mail or phone.
