Description of 1924 Packard

Nice Solid Original 1924 Packard "6" 4 Door Sedan This Rare 1924 Packard "6" Sedan has a Rear Mount Spare on a 126" wheelbase. The 2 tone color Black and Dark Blue body is very solid and straight. The wood structure is extremely solid. The doors open and close very nice like a vault. and without any sagging. The gray cloth interior is also very nice and complete without any tears. The original straight 6 cylinder engine did run good and smooth. but did leak antifreeze out of the water jacket gasket. I did remove the water jacket off the engine. and some of the bolts snapped off in the block while removing the jacket. I do have a new water jacket gasket and all new S. S bolts for the jacket. I only drove the car up and down the driveway. and the brakes. transmission. and the clutch seems to work good. The glass and the canvas top is also is in very good condition. The 5 wheels are solid disc and all the tires do hold air. The drivers door handle from the outside does not work. but from the inside it does. And the rear bumper is on the car. the battery cover and door handles are there for the car. Overall. this is a nice solid original 1924 Packard that just needs a little work. The car has a Clear Ohio Title. Keys and is Sold As Is. I may be able to deliver the car for a fee. I'm selling the car to thin out my collection.
