This basically an original car, it appears to have an older repaint in the original color. The paint has nice finish and good sheen, however there is some age cracking, nothing through to the body. The interior shows both signs of wear and moths, the pictures should show both. The opera seats fold neatly into the rear, both front and rear floormats are script Packard. From info found with car the color is called Artic Blue. Also from glove box papers and visable pedal wear the miles showing of 42,839 could be the original amount.I'm not a Packard expert so following is a list of numbers found and their location, any help decoding would be nice.1275-2263 7/28/39 Hartford, Conn Data plate on left cowl517170 The 1's look like cap I Top left firewall, large embossed*B505842* On engine, left side lower, this number matches for a 39 1703/5 super 8All paper work in glove box shows 517170 as VINWheelbase is 128 by measurementTires 7.00 x 16 wide whites, correct caps and trim ringsBody; extremely straight and solid, no rustOptions, Front bumper guard, mini a/c fan on steering column Please email all questions and comments, car is in the Macon, Ga area, inside and I will store for 60 days if needed.Terms, Pay Pal deposit, balance, may be paid by check or wire transfer, car will not leave til check clears.
