Description of 1989 Peugeot 505 |
1989 Peugeot 505 STX Clear VA Title 140K Miles PDF Service Manuals Bonjour Mes Amis, Peugeot 505's came in many flavors, shapes, and sizes! For a brief 3 year period, they had the PRV V6 series cars. These cars were very advanced for their era. These “ special” models had bespoke special suspension's, brakes, and trim packages. Not to mention the standard features including:Positraction Differential. Four wheel disc brakes, independent suspension. Power Steering. Full size trunk & spare. Zf 4spd Auto. Leather heated seats,Power locks, Electric Windows. Two cigarette lighters (one in the front and back for the kids) This perky little carperformsexcellent on both rural back country roads as well as on the Interstate andhighways. Starts the first time, Every time. The engine runs very smooth and burns no oil.California car until 2009. Service manuals are included with the car in PDF format. If you have had the privilege of puttering along in an older 505 (4cly gas or diesel), then this will feel a bit different. Much better than one would think though. You have acceleration in this! Stays cool in traffic.Has plenty of power, drives and rides perfect. Ready to be a daily driver, or whatever you desire. It is very quick. Tracks perfect. Steering feels light and crisp.Inside of the engine is squeaky clean. In the pictures, it shows a donor gauge cluster- I have the lower mileage original one as well.
Hankook Tires(less than 2000 miles),O2 Sensor, Radio with bluetooth,USB,SD slot.Newer Battery(From about 10 of 2015),Valve cover gaskets,4 Hole Updated Injectors,Fuel Filter,Fuel Pump,Fuel Pressure Regulator,Tank Feed lines,Regulator hoses,Plug, Wires,Ignition Module,Crank Sensor,Master cylinder,Rebuilt calipers,Brake Hoses,Pads,A/c flush, then charge with R152A,ECU temp Sensor,Belts, Peugeot Injection ecu,Relays etc. A few things not so great:
This is not aseriousissue. We always let our cars warm up before going out. So it is of little importance to us. Must be something with a sensor and temp. With the right injection box now, it has much more power. Sounds even better! The Sun Roof is stuck closed. Most 505's are like this. Even when they work, soon they will break again. I've had it open, and highly recommend to keep it shut. Headliner is bowed down some, but solid. I'm always open to interesting, or other weird cars. If this last line applies to you, and the STX tickles your fancy, let me know. Something could be worked out. |
