I have owned this 77 plymouth volare station wagon for almost 10 years. I bought it needing transmission work with the intention of making a hot rod wagon out of it. Obviously that never happened.I did fix the transmission and now the car runs and drives well.It has the slant six engine with the "super" 2 bbl carb. The carb is a newly rebuilt unit I bought off of ebay since the original was a mess. I cleaned the fuel tank and lines out when I replaced the carb.I also replaced the rear wheel cylinders and the master cylinder to get the brakes back up and working. The body is in very nice shape with the only rust being in the lower door skin of the drivers door. It is in the original blue paint so you can clearly see how nice it is. The original woodgrain does not look so good but I intended to strip it all off anyways. The glass is good except for a rock chip of course in the windshield. Both front window cranks work fine to lower the glass, ut something must be off the tracks as you have to hold the window in position as you roll it back up. I also put in new rear hatch struts. The interior is not bad at all for a car this age. There are some cracks in the dash top pad, nd the carpet is filthy, ut the seat covers are pretty nice and the door panels only have a few issues in the lower corners.I have driven the car locally now off and on for a few months. It drives fine and I would be willing to drive it across country if needed. Probably it should have new tires before that should be done though. They are all the same size 205-14's, nd have decent tread but are at least 10+ years old. They are not all the same tread design. I also put on a set of valiant hubcaps which look pretty good on it.I have no reserve set on the car so if it bids, t sells.Buyer is completely responsible for any shipping and arrangements for the car. It is located in eastern Washington state, ust north of Spokane. I can continue to store it outside until winter if necessary but would like it gone as soon as can be arranged.Winning bidder to pay a $100 deposit through paypal within 72 hours of auction end. Remainder can be paid in cash at pickup or can be by check which must clear before I will release the car or title.I do have a clear title in my name for the car.Ask any questions early please. I don't always get to the computer towards the end of an auction. I have perfect feedback if you wish to check that out.The fuel gauge works when it feels like it, would not trust it. The other gauges, witches, ights etc work as they should.
