Description of 19500000 Plymouth Other |
NO RESERVE!!! I have the car advertised locally and do reserve the right to end the auction early if there are no bids. 1950 Plymouth Woodie Station wagon. New paint, nterior, ires, iring harness, rakes (front converted to disc, tc. This car is ready to go to the shows. It has a flathead 6cyl engine with 3spd with overdrive transmission. The original radio was just redone with modern electronics to play am/fm plus MP3. Runs and drives great, specially with the overdrive. It comes with an extra engine, ransmission, un visor and misc parts. This is a great car that draws a lot of attention. Serious bidders only please. Please ask questions you may have before bidding or even better, heck out the car in person. The state of Alabama does not issue titles for antique vehicles and transfer is done with a Bill of Sale. The car is currently registered in Alabama. Added: This car was originally a 6 volt positive ground car. It has been converted to 12 volt negative ground with an alternator. This and the overdrive transmission make this car a wonderful driver. The engine runs great and has excellent and even compression. I added the last photo to show the stainless rocker trim. Added : Here are some of my responses to some of the questions I received... Good morning, hat I did was replaced all the wiring with a universal harness and fuse panel. I put on a new alternator, oltage regulator, oil, ll light bulbs, nd heater motors. I left the starter and horns. They work fine. I put a step-down on the fuel gauge. The water and oil gauges are not electrical and work fine. I wired the cigarette lighter for 12V for phone chargers. The radio was converted to modern guts for 12V. The only thing I didn't hook up were the turn signals. All the wiring is there I just gave up on them. Hello Bob. Yes the rear seat comes out easily. I wouldn t get rid of it though as they are worth their weight in gold. The carpet is under it so it is finished when it s removed. The painter did a pretty nice job but it is not perfect. The paint was wet sanded and buffed and shines very nicely. The car shows very well but I can find a few imperfections if I look hard. This is not a show car but usually wins at shows. It s a beautiful car. Feel free to ask questions. |
