Description of 1959 Plymouth Fury Sport Fury

Two 1959 Plymouth Coupes for sale, either have titles.

One is a nearly complete originalBelvedere without trim. It runs and moves under it's own power. Brakes have not been gone over - no brakes. Body has some rust and some pin hole rust thru on panels. Gas tank and trunk flooris no good. Small polyV8 2bbl carb motor I believe is original, ot certain of the cu-in. Has all glass but windshield is cracked.

One is a Sport Fury Shell. It has a 80's circa 440 new 4bbl carb, spd tourqueflite with park transmission, nd 83/4 rear. It is a running, riving, nd stopping car with pretty much original drum brakes. Gas tank and trunk flooris no good. No interior, ome floor board rust out, nd eyebrow rust thru. Included are the replacement eyebrows, eadlight backing panels. and rocker panels. I have all the side glass which appears to be OK also - just have to find where I put them. Windshield is also cracked. It has a front valance but is bent up with a good bit of curb rash, robably can be made presentable by the right body guy, hose things go for thousands sometimes. This car has a blank ID badge that comes along with it; "Built Especially for" and the name area was never engraved. Just a cool thing to have for the car when get it to the car shows later.

I've had these in the barn for years. My intent was to make theSport Fury a complete running car. I've now come to the conclusion it will not happen. Too many projects and the older I get the bigger this project looks. Time to move them out of here.

I have collected a lot of stuff for the 59s. New carpet, ew eyebrows, front fender with good eyebrow and grill section, ood front chrome in perfect condition,a complete Swivel Front Seat needing reupholstered, good junkyard windshield, new trunk spare tire façade, irrors, nd antenna's are what comes to mind. Both cars have bumpers that are good enough for swap in to the bumper boyz or wherever.I'll put the stuff all together and try to get a piclisted showing all of it.

Titles are fairly easy to get, nd if you have a friend in Vermont, evada, ew Hampshire (I think they still do not title older cars of these years), r any state without titles on these older cars, ou can have them "sell them" to you, otarize it and Pa will issue a new Pa title. That is basically what the online title companies do anyway. I have used International Title Co in the past with no trouble. The feedback on them now isn't good, ut I had no problems in the past for a few old cars. You will have to check your own state laws concerning this.

I didn't pull out the cars for the pictures, s that's a good bit of work the way they are packed in, erious buyers should come look at them and I'll pull them out then. Maybe there aren't any buyers interested this fall, f so I'll run the ad again in the spring if no interest.

You bid you bought. Simple as that. I feel this is a low starting price and there is a $500 PayPal NON REFUNDABLE payment at the end of the auction. If you come and think I misrepresented the cars, hen you should have come looked at it, hat will be no excuse. If Aunt Bertha died and didn't leave you as much money as you thought, o excuse. And all issues with the wife should be resolved before clicking the bid button too. If you are following these cars on ebay or elsewhere you know they aren't plentiful or cheap. Even station wagons go for this much at times.

I may consider separating the cars, ut it would be more expensive for sure. Storage time is a bit flexible. Just have them paid for and we probably can work something out. Not too far away I may even be talked into delivering for a nominal fee also.

Thanks for looking... Jim
