1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe, ll original car except for paint and exhaust. The running gearis a 217ci 3.6 I6 with a 3 speed on the column with 93k originalmiles. Thetransmission shifts very easily with no grinding. Runs and handles very well. Still has the 6 volt charging system. The Plymouth is very solid for a 70 year old vehicle. The doors, ood and deck lid still close like a new car. There is no visible rust on the car. Under the hood and deck lid is in amazing condition as well as inside the door jambs. The deck lidhas the factory trunk light. Still has the original factory spare in the trunk.I have all the factory original literature that came with the car new. The heater works as it should and heats the entire car with ease.Emergency brake works as well and the notification light for the emergency brake still lights up.All the lights work like they should as well as all the gauges except the fuel gauge. There is a fuel cell inside the trunk thatI'm using however the original tank has been cleaned and mounted back under the car. Just never finished hooking up the lines. The radio does not work. It lights up but no sound. Horn still works from the steering wheel ring like original. Allthe windows roll up and down like they should and wipers work. The exhaust is new from the manifold back. I have thethree chrome front bumper guards to go on the car as well.If your looking for a car of this era then you cant go wrong with this one. Its ready to go...drive it anywhere.
