Description of 1968 Plymouth GTX GTX |
I'm relisting this car after verifying the numbers. Wasatch Auto Works in Mt. Pleasant Utah is happy to be selling this very original, UMBERS MATCHING, unning and driving 1968 GTX 440 High Performance 375 horse SPECIAL. Everything is there except the ashtray. A real time capsule with 53,027 original miles. The interior seats are in good shape and from what I understand it has a rare fold down center between the front seat. The headliner has been replaced previously and needs it again. The carpet is old and worn also. It comes with the 4 original hub caps and 4 new hub caps. It does need some body work. The rear quarters have rust and will need to be replaced. There is a hole in the driver side floor board that can easily be fixed. The car comes with replacement front fenders that look good. It also had an extra set of tail lights in better shape than what is currently on the car (see photos). We also replaced the starter motor, as tank and battery adn cleaned up the carberator. The original gas tank is still good but has varnished old gas in it and comes with the car. It also had another GTX rear plate that runs across the back that is in excellent shape. It runs and drives and can still burn the rear tires (see YouTube videos). Not only are these cars getting harder to find but this one is the car for the GTX lover because it is so original. The reserve has been lowered from last week. The car will not leave the property until all the funds have been received and cleared. The title is an Idaho title and is clear and it also has the original build sheet and documentation. Bid with confidence, his is a Jewel. This is your chance to own one of the most original GTX's out there. One like it but restored, ust sold at Barrett-Jackson for $41,000.00 Check online for yourself what these cars are worth and you will see this one is the most complete, n-restored, unning car that's affordable for us guys that have always wanted one but couldn't afford it. This car is on YouTube running.
