1965 Plymouth Barracuda $2500 obo

My husband bought this for me, but his health took a bad turn and we don’t think he’ll be able to finish her. Instead of letting her rot in the back yard, I’d like to find someone who will love and restore her back to her former glory. The guy we bought it from was trying to put her back to original specs, but got deployed and had to sell off most of his possessions.

She has a 318 and an automatic but originally had a 273 and a 4 speed. I am unsure of the condition of the motor but was told it was rebuilt and running when installed but the transmission was never connected and it’s missing the radiator fan and carburetor. I think the carburetor is on the passenger floor along with a lot of other engine parts, gauges, etc.

All the glass is good, and those back windows are hard to find and very expensive. All the body trim is good except for the rear lens cover on the driver’s side. Grill is intact with headlights. Both bumpers in great shape. The body is straight and will not take too much work to strip and prep for paint. She was Plum Crazy Purple. All 4 rims match, after market old-school hot rod type, but one tire is flat.

The interior has a lot of original trim, knobs, gauges, panels, and whatnot. The two front seats are missing, but the back one is intact and the hardware is all there. The rear seats are also hard to find and expensive to replace.
