The car started life with a Slant Six, Automatic Transmission, and Power Steering. The original color was a medium reddish brown metallic. previous owner bought the car three years ago and began a total restoration. Both rear quarter panels were replaced with new ones. The driver and pass front floor pans and the trunk floor pan were also replaced. The gas tank, sending unit, and straps are also new pieces. The front grill was sourced from a 1969 Plymouth Valiant and the rear tail was sourced from a 1971 Duster. The K Frame was sourced from a 1970 Duster 340 (biscuit style) with the factory anti sway bar. All of the bushings were replaced with polyurethane. The front disk brakes were sourced from a 1976 Duster. The rear is an 8 2.92 Unit from a Volare Wagon with 11 inch brakes. The paint and the interior are driver quality. There is no rust. The carpet is new. The original back seat was recovered. The front bucket seats were sourced from a Dodge Dakota. The seats fold forward and recline as they should. The seats were recovered in black and charcoal marine grade vinyl. The front windshield is new. The rest of the windows are driver quality. The passenger side door window has several scratches that may or may not buff out. All of the window seals and gaskets are new. The tires are new. The wheels are 15 inch with the big bolt pattern (4x5). The motor is a Magnum 5.2 with EQ Heads. The motor was bored 30 over and the crank was turned 10 under. Comp Cams supplied a .484 lift cam with springs from Hughes Engineering and Mopar Performance Roller Lifters. The aluminum air gap intake is topped with a new Holley 4160 Carb (elec. choke). The auto trans was also rebuilt and a floor mounted Hurst Pro Matic shifter was installed. The exhaust flows through factory 340 hp manifolds and accurate exhaust duals.
