Description of 1947 Plymouth Other special deluxe

1947 Post War Plymouth P-15 Special Deluxe. I purchased this car in 2013 with the intention on giving it a small block Ford engine with air ride suspension. Last year my son wanted to do a Moonshine Runners Rat Rod. We started playing around with it to see if it would start. After playing with the points. lugs and wires . he old timer fired ! We rebuilt the carburetor. new fuel pump. ew 6 volt battery. ew water pump and belt. New master cylinder. ll new wheel cylinders(6). ew brake. ines. oses. and shoes all the way around. We ordered a set of NOS seat covers. e repaired the floor front and rear. Tires are practically brand new with the portawalls inserts. Car starts up and runs good. The only cracked glass is the passenger side front (flat glass). We removed the gas tank to have it boiled out but never got around to it. So it is running off a gallon jug sitting behind the grill. The dash gauges and lights work except temp(broken cable)and fuel (tank removed). Tail lights. arking lights. ead lights. nd brake lights all work. We haven't driven the car on the road because of the small fuel jug behind the radiator. But we do know that it goes in all three gears including reverse. This would be a great project for someone who is looking for this style of vintage car. __Car is sold with a Georgia Bill Of Sale__ Also. he windshield wipers and heater both work. The small pieces of molding thats missing between the door and fender is with the car. Also comes with the original wheels that have the clips for the moon style hubcap.
