Description of 1964 Plymouth Belvedere Station Wagon |
1964 Plymouth Belvedere 3 seat Station Wagon. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Push Button Automatic Transmission, Roof Rack, and Rear Power tailgate window. I purchased this vehicle 7 years ago from California, and I had planned to restore it as a tribute 426 (440) Max Wedge Wagon, but I have other projects and this car is for sale. The vehicle runs and drives although I have not driven it on the road for other thencouple of miles, and everything seems to work be in working order. It is a 52 year old car, and things can fail at anytime. The body is really clean for a '64, andother then a few minor dings and dents, and all body panels appear to be original. The vehicle does have the typical minor spots of rust (even for a California car),which I think can easily be repaired. The areas of rust are a small spot on the firewall, the very lower part of the left rear quarter, the 3rd seat foot well area, and the bottom edge of the tailgate. The front floor pan is veryclean other then somesurface rust, and I don't see any areas of perforation. You WON'T need to spend $1500 to $2000 to replace the floor. The rear 3rd seat foot well does have some surface rust and a small area of perforation that will need to be metal patched (see images). The underside of the floor pans and chassis are also very clean. This vehicle is stock from the factory, and appears not to be tampered with. The fender tag is still in place, andyou can see the factory "ink stamps" on the inner fenders from the assembly line. The car appears to havebeen painted at one time (40 years ago?) and a trailer hitch installed(now removed). The car has all the original equipment other than the wheels, and I do have the original hubcaps. The interior will need attention as it is original, but it is dried out and cracked (typical of a dry desert Californiacar). Legendary AutoInteriors has the teal colored seat covers availablefor a station wagon. The headliner panels will also need to be repaired or replaced as they are sagging. I was told they could possibly repaired, or I think Kramer Automotive may have new ones available. There are several companies that cater to the 1962-65 B-body Mopars, including Kramer Automotive and Suchy Auto I think this would be a great project for someone wanting an awesome station wagon. Cruise with the entire family or friends in a 3 seat wagon! You could restore it as it left the factory, with the Poly 318, upgrade it to any big block, or this would also be a great project for a drag car.Bracket race it, goNostalgia Racing,as a Max Wedge Wagon, B/SA, C/SA and have the option to run it as a 2 seat wagon, or 3 seat wagon. Buyer is responsible for all transportationcosts to their location. Payment via wire transfer or cash in person The vehicle is sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. I do reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. Only bid on the vehicle if you have the abilityto repair or restore it.Please contact me with any questions Relisted due to non paying buyer. |
