1967 GTX HEMI J CODE NOT TO LONG AGO THIS WAS A RUNNING DRIVING HEMI CAR. THE HEMI ENGINE THAT WAS IN IT WAS A 1970 ENGINE WHICH WAS REMOVED BY PREVIOUS OWNER AND SOLD TO ME WITH OUT TRANNY AND ENGINE. I SAW THIS CAR BEFORE ENGINE WAS REMOVED AND HEARD AND SAW IT RUN AND DRIVE. I PURCHASED THIS CAR WITH THE INTENT OF PUTTING MY 472 MOPAR CRATE HEMIENGINE AND TRANNY IN IT AND HAVING A HEMI GTX DRIVER. NOW I'M ON TO A BIGGER PROJECT AND RATHER THEN LET THE GTX SIT UNTILL I GET TIME I'VE DECIDED TO LET HER GO. THIS IS A CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN A REAL HEMI GTX AT A PRICE THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN AFFORD. THE BODY ON THIS CAR IS ACTUALLY VERY SOLID. THE ONLY RUST IS ON THE LAST INCH ON THE BOTTOM OF BOTH REAR QUARTERS. NOT REALLY EVEN SEEN WHEN JUST LOOKING AT THE CAR. THE FLOORS TRUNK AND FRAME ARE EXTREMELY SOLID AND ARE IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION. ALL GAPS SEEM TO BE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY GAPS AND DOORS SHUT TIGHT AND FIRM. YEARS AGO IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE WANTED TO GET OVER SIZED TIRES IN REAR WHEEL WELLS AND THEY HACKED OFF THE REAR WHEEL WELL LIP. I GUESS THAT'S WHAT YOU DID BACK IN THE DAY. THERE IS ALSO WHAT LOOKS TO BE A LITTLE OLD BODY WORK DOWN LOW AND CLOSE TO THE DOOR ON DRIVERS SIDE. THERE ARE ALSO SRATCHES AND A FEW SMALL DINGS CONSISTENT TO THE AGE OF CAR. THE INTERIOR IS ACTUALLY IN DECENT USABLE CONDITION. I BELIEVE IT TO BE IN MOSTLY ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT I THINK THE FRONT BUCKETTS WERE RE COVERED AT ONE TIME. THE DASH GAUGES AND BEZELS ARE IN NICE CONDITION AS WELL AS THE DASH PAD.A FEW VERY SMALL HOLES IN HEADLINER. WITH BATTERY HOOKED UP DASH LIGHTS AND ACCESORIES ALL SEEM TO WORK. IF YOU HAD A HEMI ENGINE AND A TRANNY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BOLT THEM IN AND START THEM UP SINCE THIS WAS A RUNNING DRIVING HEMI CAR BEFORE THE ENGINE WAS PULLED. I KNOW THAT THE BRAKES WORKED AS WELL AS THE LIGHTS AND THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME NOT TO BELIEVE THAT EVERY THING SHOULD WORK AGAIN. THIS CAR DOES COME WITH THE ORIGINAL HEMI MOTOR MOUNTS DRIVE SHAFT AND TRANNY CROSS MEMBER. ALL PICTURES ARE RECENT WITH THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BEING THE REAR TIRES AND WHEELS HAVE BEEN CHANGED WITH A DIFFERENT SET OF ROLLERS. ONE OF THE LAST PICTURES SHOWS A SET OF REDLINES AND STEEL WHEELS THESE DO NOT GO WITH CAR BUT WINNING BIDDER WILL BE GIVEN OPPURTUNITY TO PURCHASE THEM THEY ARE 15" X 6 1/2" WITH NEW GOODYEAR SPEEDWAY F 70 15" AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE 1967 HEMI GTX ONLY DOG DISH CAPS. THEY ARE NOT H WHEELS. THE ORIGINAL HEMI AUTOMATIC TRANNY COOLER IS STILL THERE THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD WHERE IS AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES BEING WRITTEN EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. I HAVE MADE EVERY EFFORT TO BE TRUTHFULL BUT THIS CAR IS 50 YEARS OLD AND IT'S EASY TO MISS SOMETHING.
