Description of 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Cuda |
This 1970 Plumb Crazy 383 Barracuda with added Cuda trim VIN Code information tells that this car was built in the Los Angeles plant. Engine supplied was 383 with a 2 barrel carb. Now sports a Holley on an Edelbrock Intake The car was last registered in 2002 and has been kept inside the family garage and not driven since 2001. Exterior inspection of body panels show good fit. Plumb Crazy paint is glossy and matches the correct original color code on the fender trim tag. Roof has rust bubbles underneath the vinyl top. I have photos of the roof prior to the installation of the current vinyl top. Also have a few photos taken during that 1999 restoration. LOOK close at the photos of the bottoms of doors, bottoms of rockers and all the lower areas. The car looks very good! I looked at all these areas, did you? Only 5000 miles added since the 1998/9 restoration. The records show many details including, transmission rebuild, new carburetor, alternator, brakes, radiator, hoses, distributor, Flowmaster exhaust and more. Receipts for the mechanical work will be included with the car. I can not confirm actual mileage. The records I have start with the restoration in 1999. YES, the dash pad is a cap. The car looks very solid underneath, please look very close at the chassis and bottom of body photos. The inside of the trunk floor shows that rust has been painted over, but underneath the car the floor looks good. I have not had the car outside in rain and have not poured water over it to see if the roof or rear window leak. I am helping sell the car for the owner. I am not a dealer, I am just one of the local car-guys helping other car-guys. I can and will answer any and ALL questions to the best of my ability. I have a 100% rating on eBay and intend to keep it that way. Nothing held back, no surprises. YES, the car is advertised and will be going to a local car show. If it sells, it is gone and I will remove the listing. I do want everyone bidding to have the chance to own the car. Please talk to me if you think this is the car you have been waiting for. YES, I am familiar with exporting cars. Yes, I can help make it happen. NO, this is not a “numbers matching” car. Here are the codes for you to see and check the decode service I used to compare and see what is correct or not. As I said, Please LOOK and ask questions. I do want you to be happy with the car!
