The original Plymouth Duster is a semi-fastback two-door coupe version of the compact-sized Plymouth Valiant automobile that was marketed by Plymouth in the U.S. from 1970 to 1976 model years. As the Barracuda grew in dimension the hole it left in Plymouth lineup was filled by the Duster. The Duster produced a sporty inexpensive compact that was a lot of bang for the buck. The design is known for its semi-fastback roof and (starting in 1973) the taillights that were mounted from the outside and... trimmed in chrome. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1972 Plymouth Duster for consideration. This vehicle is powered by a 340ci V8 engine that runs like a top and turns right over as it should. It is paired to an original 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and is strong in every gear. The exterior orange paint has held up extremely well over the years and looks phenomenal after receiving a full vehicle detail. The orange is matched with a white vinyl interior that looks great and appears to have been maintained very well; there are a few pieces of trim missing but no major damage rips or issues throughout. The owner of this vehicle has kept every piece of documentation on it that has crossed the path a full binder of receipts and miscellaneous documentation will come along with the car.
