Offered for auction is our 1960 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door Hardtop. We purchased this car in 2008 and we've enjoyed every minute of owning this car. Virgil Exner's designs came to a head in 1960 with the grandest styling yet. This car showcases a pair of the largest fins ever put out by Chrysler. and has the chrome to match. The car was repainted by one of the previous owners to the factory colors. The paint has held up very well over the years. but does have the typical rock-chip or scratch. nothing major though. There is some minor rust in the passenger side rocker panel as shown in the pictures below. Otherwise the car is super solid and there is no evidence of body damage or repairs. A very clean and straight car!The interior was redone by a previous owner using period materials. but they are not the factory fabrics. Overall a very well done and stylish upholstery job. Drivetrain is the original 318ci V8 backed up by the three-speed automatic transmission. Car has power steering and manual brakes and they all work perfectly. No issues with the engine/trans. it shifts fine and always starts. Runs/drives wonderfully down the road and we've taken this car on many long road trips with no problems or worries. Overall. the car is an exceptionally beautiful and preserved example of one of the finest eras of automotive design and would be an excellent addition to any collection or investment portfolio. If you have any questions. message me and I'll respond as quickly as possible.
