Description of 1970 Plymouth Barracuda |
This 1970 Hemi Cuda AAR was custom built by David Salvaggio of SpeedKore, and was featured in Fast & Furious 6 and 7 as Dominic Toretto's car; it was also driven by Letty. This car was also featured in countless magazines, commercials, and video games. You will probably remember seeing this exact car at the end of Fast 6, where the Fast family are having a barbecue. It then made another appearance at the start of the Fast 7, with Dom and Letty making their way to the famousRace Warsevent, with Letty then taking on an Audi R8 on the strip. The car for sale was never used for any action scenes in either movie. It was used as what the movie industry calls a "Hero Car." It's the one carthatis kept in perfect condition for all the close up shots. Replica Cuda's were built off this Hero Car for the racing and action scenes. The replica cars look a little different than the Hero Car in the movie because it would have been too expensive anddifficultto build them as nice as the Hero Carusingthe same custom one off parts. No expenses were spared on this Cuda, with almost every part of the car being hand-built, and gently massaged. Some features include TIG welded seams, custom TIG welded 3-inch side exhaust. Custom fabricated front control arms and Design rear suspension, water jet pinion supports, incorporate dual coil over shocks in the rear with inboard disc brakes and links. The best part of the car comes from its Arruzza hand-built 540 cubic inch 8.8 liter all aluminum Hemi motor pumping out 700HP buttoned up to a Tremec 6 speed manual transmission with a pistol grip shifter. And don't forget about a very important feature for any car, air conditioning! This car is equipped with vintage air, and it blows nice and cold. This is your chance to own a very special and rare Cuda with lots of history. Features:
