1930 Plymouth Roadster Model 30-U with Rumble Seat. In fact they are rarely offered for sale. This a 4 cylinder 196 cubic inch engine documented by Chrysler Historical Services to have been built June 4, 1930 with a 4.3 rear axle This is an older, but very authentic restoration of a unique automobile. Every effort has been made to restore this car to factory standards. Its appearance to a casual eye at 5 foot, based on its glossy paint, would indicate a more recent restoration but a few paint blemishes, wear in the door jambs and checking on some panels would indicate a few years of wear. It starts easily, runs well and cruises slight wobble over 35 which we where told the wheels should be balanced. It does not overheat. Four wheel hydraulic brakes were just completely rebuild by White Post Restorations and new king pins by Kanter Restoration. It is a reliable and dependable driver. The body and chassis are rust free and show no or deterioration. The bright work, aluminum, stainless and chrome are flawless with no dents of blemishes. It has an optional radiator stone guard and chrome spare tire cover. The convertible top is like new except for a slight abrasion on the front edge. The side curtains & windows are likewise as new. The black carpet, seats and rumble seat are also flawless with no tears, holes or excessive use. All lights and gauges work properly.
