Description of 1978 Plymouth Volare |
Hello and thanks for looking at my ad. Here's something a bit different for the Mopar enthusiast. I love Mopars and have had a bunch of them over forty years. B-bodies, A-bodies, and a few E-bodies I wish I still had... As prices rose and years passed, I found myself branching out to different, more affordable models and more recent model years. Which brings us to this Volare. Not what I typically have owned, but when I saw the condition and drove it, I bought it on the spot. Most of these F-bodies rotted out, so it's hard to find one with such clean quarters, fenders and undercarriage. I don't buy junk. This one is as clean they come. I hope that the pictures capture how nice this car really is. All that factory Ziebart did the trick. As well as spending it's life in Kentucky and Indiana. You'd be the third owner. Female owned for over thirty five years. She did not put much mileage on it, so it is a legit 42,XXX miles on her. You got a 318 V8 with an automatic transmission. Motor runs strong, as it should with such low miles, tranny shifts firm with no slips. Cold A/C. Car has all inspection items operable and goes down the road straight with no smoke or squeaks. Again, I hope that the photos speak to the condition of this 42,000 mile original, unmolested car. This Volare is all original, still has the original drum brakes in the rear as a matter of fact. It's driven to shows and cruise nights and garaged when it's not. People seem to love her, gets tons of compliments, smiles and thumbs up. Then you get the occasional person who asks "is that a Nova?" . This is an opportunity for you to get a super clean, unique two door V8 Mopar, with cool lines for a modest investment. You can drive it right now and enjoy it this season or have an incredibly rock solid beginning to a project. As for me, too many cars and not enough time. The Volare gets ignored and it deserves better. I've already got a commitment on the next Mopar I'm buying so this one needs to go. If you are looking for solid investment with a world of potential, here it is. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. The reserve is fair and modest, so please do not ask. I will accommodate any reasonable shipping options, but we need to discuss them upfront. Less than five positive feedbacks and transactions, sorry, I am cancelling your bid. Please have your funds ready and your wife's permission prior to committingto buy the car. Let's not waste each other's time please. Cash in person or certified funds prior to title transfer. Clean title is in hand, ready to go. Best of luck bidding and thanks for looking. 845-392-6522 |
