Description of 1973 Plymouth Duster

Mostly restored (started with early2000's restoration) 1973 Plymouth Duster. 360 hopped-up (cam) engine with a 727 Torqueflight 3-speed auto trans.
Newer paint (some rock dings in front, and a few places needed touch up here and there. Clear coat cured and needs final wet-sand - some drips on 4 layers of clear). This was a $2800 paint job not a $12,000 paint job so don't expect that!
New carpet, dash pad, chrome bumpers.Newer Seat covers, and nice/loud working Pioneer cassette deck with am/fm. New rear speakers.A few gauges don't work, needs emergency brake handle. Professional metal work done on rear including installation of new quarter panels, trunk, trunk extension, and frame rails. All complete, and professionally welded with body work done, primer, paint, clearcoat (4x) - looks amazing.
This Duster runs great and is the definition of FastnLoud for you Richard Rawlings fans. Car has headers and dual exhaust; Very dependable go anywhere. Take this immediately to car shows, and it gets a lot of attention because a lot of people had Dusters back in the day, so it rings that nostalgic bell for them. Purple is always a great color on these muscle-era cars. Duster has a black vinyl interior, faux-fiber carbon overlay dash. This is a real head-turner, and is a lot of fun to driver - not perfect, but an excellent example. Sold in as-is condition; no warranty, Shipping costs are responsibility of the buyer. I encourage you to come and look at it before bidding/buying.

Disclaimer: This car just sold in early July, and the buyer (a flipper of collectible items) showed up in a Mercedes with trailer in tow. He walked around it with a fine-tooth comb, and was disappointed that it was not perfect, and that he thought I misrepresented the car. I graciously let him out of the sale then and there, refunded deposit money 20 minutes later, and Paypal's new system since April slowed his refund down to exactly a week before it hit his account. I have no control over that. I have been on EBAY for 19 years with 100%, and sold dozens of vintage guitars (and a few cars) for over $10,000 to over $100,000. I have never misrepresented anything as being"Mint, Perfect, and rarely Excellent" Most items I sell are in great original condition or moderately restored condition. These are not meant for resale, so you flippers - don't bother. These are meant to be used by the end consumer, who values a piece of history that means something to them to keep and enjoy. Maybe they owned it before, and now would like to relive having it again. We all get a bit nostalgic at times, and I lean towards it more than others. Rest assured you will be treated fairly and honestly by me. If you need more pics or info, please ask before hitting the button to buy it.
