Description of 1971 Plymouth GTX --

This is a real GTX indicated right in the vin and fender tag. This wins popular vote. If I only had a dollar for every compliment! Men and women love it. EXTERIOR: The paint will sell this car. The body is straight as a laser beam. The body gaps are as good as a new Mercedes. The hood fits perfectly square and flush. Hood and doors shut perfectly. isn't a typical Plum Crazy Purple. It has a deep, rich color.... It looks like wet grape candy. The paint is like glass. Has bold black stripes coming off the hood scoops proudly displaying Plymouth 440. Front bumper has new chrome but was bumped in the corner. The grill is restored. Windshield is new, all the stainless trim is very straight and shiny. In back it has a spoiler mounted on the trunk, rechromed bumper and restored tail lights. Door jambs are painted slick, new sill plates. The car has a great stance and great looking 18 inch US Mags with Nitto performance tires. INTERIOR: Upgraded leather reclining seats from a newer car. Driver side is power. The rear seat was upholstered to match. Has Center console with a slap stick shifter. The carpet is new, has purple embroidered floor mats. Instrument panel in good original shape, no cracks or damage. There is a split on top of the dash pad. Nice 3 spoke cushion grip steering wheel. Overhead the visors and headliner are very nice. Door panels and the plastic trim is in really good shape. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Healthy rebuilt 440 with steel crank, forged pistons, MSD ignition, Holley carb with electric choke. All clean, straight metal painted gloss purple. I don't see any damage or rust. The engine is dressed up with some chrome valve covers and air cleaner lid. Radiator and shroud looks new, alternators new. Features include power steering and power brakes. Original fender tag is still attached. Under the hood is gloss purple with hood insulation and the rubber seal. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean and appears to be original metal including the quarter panels. Has a nice coat of grey and aqua spatter finish paint. It also has a collapsible spare tire and a complete jack assembly. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb painted gloss purple. Has a trunk light, new weatherstrip and a car cover. UNDERSIDE: A Missouri car its whole life. Very solid original metal. Frame rails are clean. The front end is all rebuilt, new disc brakes too. Bottom of the motor is spotless, new starter. 727 Torqueflite trans looks fresh too. In back the rear end is painted, has new shocks. New brakes and has complete e-brake assembly. Fuel tank is new. Has great sounding Flowmaster exhaust system. If you enjoy compliments you will love this car!
