Description of 1949 Plymouth Other

For sale is my 1949 Plymouth Deluxe. Bought this car from a man who bought it as his first car in the 1960's. He drove it until 1979 and had been parked in his garage until I bought it last year. It has the 218 flathead 6 that he had rebuilt a couple of years before he quit driving it. Engine runs well with good oil pressure. I put new plugs. wires. fuel pump. battery. all 6 wheel cylinders. brake shoes. all new bulbs in every light. and 4 new tires. This car is still 6 volt and all electrical items still work except the fuel gauge and the temp. gauge. Has after market temp. gauge. Heater. radio. dash lights. horn. wipers. etc. all still work! The rocker panels are rusted out and the edges of floor boards where they meet the rocker panels. The rest of the car is pretty solid. I have driven it to several cruse-ins with no problems. Car runs. drives. and rides well. Surprise you for a car this age. This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early. I will not sell out of the US.
