Has factory undercoating as an option as well This is a numbers matching 72 Duster 340. 8. 75 rear with a new auburn Sure-Grip unit just installed. The interior has been redone boasting the original buckets with the factory center console. The car runs and drives good but the brakes are little spongy. I have the fender tag and two broadcast sheets for the Duster. I also have a pile of receipts from past engine work. and the original owner’s manual. The factory original color is F7 Sherwood Green with V21 hood ladder stripe and black side and tail stripe according to the fender tag. The car is currently painted a darker green than the original color. The GoodThe car runs and drives but is not safe for driving because the brakes need to be gone through as car was only drag raced the past 20 years and wasn't street driven since '94. It has been in the same condition since '95 when it was put in storage. Numbers match on engine. and transmission (see photos) and has been rebuilt. Just some paint and cosmetic work is all that is needed. runs strong. The interior is in very good condition with its bucket seats recovered in Legendary seat covers. All the seat medallions are present and very hard to find once lost in the 72 only seats. The engine runs good and idles very steady. The previous owner advised the motor was rebuilt about 15. 00 miles ago and have many receipts of the work done. The numbers matching 727 transmission shifts normally as it should. All lights function. as they should including the trunk light. All the factory tinted glass is original and free of damage. The trim could is all there but could use a buff probably in places but it’s a 43yo. car. The Duster came factory with both chrome racing mirrors. inside hood release but the handle is broken-easy p/u anywhere online. It came factory with the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston front disc brakes and drums in the rear all is present. The wheels are it’s original 4” bolt circle rallye all around in excellent shape. The Sharktooth grill is all there and it great shape. The previous owner many years back put a Torker intake and 650 DP Holley on it and still on it today. It came with an am/fm radio but not present. has aftermarket radio. It also came with chrome exhaust tips still present on the car. The fender came factory with the fender top turn signal lights as an option as well and present on the car. I have the original intake and Thermoquad carb to go with car. Doors are super solid and hinges close great. The BadThe Duster will need to be completed restored and is a very worthy candidate. This Duster has the normal rust in normal places but deserves to be restored. It had one repaint probably 20+ years ago and some of the original paint can be seen in many places. The rockers need attention and both front floor pans. A previous owner basically cut the front floors out and put loose sheet metal down in some areas. The tail panel is rusted out and will need replaced. Both quarters need replaced or repaired as well. The trunk is solid. but trunk extensions will need replaced and maybe wheel houses. I would replace both inner fenders. A lower fender might need some work too. All of this sheet metal is available through parts sources such as AMD. In conclusion what you have here is an untouched 72 Duster that has been stored for the past 20 years inside and a time capsule.
