Description of 1965 Plymouth Belvedere 1 |
Selling my 1965 Belvedere1. I have owned the car for 15 years. The car needs assembly and a few items I have not reached yet. Note: this auction is for rolling body with fuel system. This Belvedere 1 is an all steel body has been through stages of development. Fenders, doors, trunk, bumpers and hood are all steel. A true Belvedere1 with correctly shaped metal repairs. All repairs were completed by an experienced fabrication shop. They hand form for panels not in production / reproduction. The reproduction rear wheel housing patch panels are patterned after a 65 Coronet and incorrect for the Belvedere. The metal repairs are correct for a 65. I have a CD filled with photos of this process. Rear wheel tubs are mini-tubbed but finished by the body shop to look stock. You would have to look twice to notice. I have 15x10's with 30.5x10.5 slicks with plenty of room. The paint and body work by John's Auto Body in Imperial, MO. John's has placed with cars at World of Wheels, his work is above all others in this area. The paint is stunning. Bumpers are new, stainless trim polished, Emblems all refinished and detailed, the best of three sets picked over for the best set before re chrome. New lens for turn signals and brake lights. This is an all Steel body. (Fenders, doors, hood and deck lid are all steel.) The interior is painted Fawn Gold. I have new A990 restoration door panels and seat covers with new seat foam. New steering wheel (Fawn Gold),new head liner. Dash Bezels are currently at Gcar's for re-plating. . The car has a "full cage/ladder bar/elephant ears/round helmet support" setup built by Mark Artist, of Texas Outsider's. Ford 9" with strange axles 4:31 spool. Setup for a big HEMI 727 auto, Setup for elephant ears and brackets for a Hemi. Disk brake Aero Space Components with big bore late model master cylinder, adjustable proportion valve, separate front and rear lines. (removes the single well master cylinder of death). K-frame is notched for a SS HEMI pan. I started to build this car but I have changed plans. I have to much to list. Contact me if you're a serious buyer. I do not need help selling or any trades but a good buyer interested with completing this car. |
