Description of 1974 Plymouth Satellite Satellite |
1974 Plymouth satellite / Roadrunner B-Body project car- 318 V8 with A904 automatic- 2.73 rear end- I have owned this car since 1982- need to let her go due to heath issues- (my daughters called her 'Buffy') drove the car until 1995 when we moved. car was parked and moved a couple of times- car will roll. I had started to convert the standard dash to a Rallye dash but as shown life and health intervened and it was never completed-I have spent many years collecting the correct parts to convert this car to an automatic slapstick floor shift car with console and rallye dash.included in this auction are all the part seen and probably some additional.all of the parts needed to add the floor shift console. a whole trans tunnel section cut out of another roadrunner and additional brackets, some slapstick shifter assemblies and linkages, etc. many duplicate parts so you can pick the best and sell the rest.engine has M/T valve covers- includes some new Procomp aluminum valve covers, a new electronic distributor, rare option parts to add rear window defrost (two assemblies)two rallye dash wiring harnesses with additional connectors.correct brackets for rear sway bar. existing sway bar brackets were welded to original shock mounts but correct brackets and shock mounts are included-glass pack mufflers, as car has tubular headers and dual exhaust .dual quad Offenhauser intake with Edelbrock AFB carbs, single AFB on an aluminum intake on the car-front bucket seats for the blue interior that need upholstery and a rare blue automatic slapstick floor shift console that is complete.many other parts included- wiring diagrams, hardware packs, clips, seat hardware.floor shift steering column to be rebuilt to replace column shift. additional steering column collar includedrare louver for rear window. full size spare in trunkI added the Satellite Sebring rear window conversion (now they roll down, on the base model they did not and the windows were bolted in place)All of the front and rear bench seats are intact.glass is original and intact- windshield is cracked.Car has AC and it worked when parkedreplacement heater valve, under hood insulation, additional dash controls and hardware, updated voltage regulator,a RARE CAT camshaft gear drive conversion for a Chrysler small block.hardware packs, clips dash light LEDs. original hubcaps for the 14" rims- I do not have the original rims.car has 14 chrome rims on front and 15" chrome rims on the back.traction bars on rear-.Trunk and floor pans are solid- only rust on passenger side rear quarter-hood is an original roadrunner hood sourced from a junkyard- original hood is gone-original sweep style dash has actual mileage- there are enough parts to build a 150 mph Rallye dash- never got the tach version.additional headlight bezels (all have some imperfections, but can probably be cleaned up)as stated there were mice living under the hood, so there is mouse damage and chewed wiring. some rust on passenger rea quarter panel in front and behind rear wheel-car does have body dings and small dents- it has not been in any accidents. front bumper has dent on corner- left front fender has minor damage at headlight bezel. side moulding has come off but is included. small dents on 'hip' above right rear wheel. hood has dent at back of bulge. surface rust on roof - car originally had white vinyl 1/2 top - all is now gone- interior fabric is starting to break down and is brittle- aftermarket car stereo and some small gauges were wired in and are still there- CAR IS 46 YEARS OLD! This would be a neat project car for a Plymouth fan- one of the last of the B-body Mopars- I can send some additional pictures on request- please email if you need further info- would really like to see this go to some one who appreciates the old mopars and can finish this project- |
