In 2007 it had a full "old school" frame-off restoration by Fred Golden of Milford, DE with body restored on a rotisserie. Crate Chevy 350 (300HP) from NuCar Performance Center in Newark, DE. Exterior paint is Toyota Aqua Iced Opalescence and really shines. All exterior trim is stainless steel except for front vent window surrounds. Motor has almost14,000 original miles with Holley 650 double pumper carburetor, headers with dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. Chrome manifold cover, chrome valve covers dress up the engine and is cooled by a 5 core radiator and electric fan. It has a vintage style heat and air system but the A/C is not hooked up; it will need a cooling coil installed (aftermarket A/C coils can be added on to the radiator easily). Fuel tank is 15 gallon, battery located in trunk with terminals for jump starting located conveniently under the rear bumper. Battery disconnect switch located under the floor mat on the drivers side (just in front of the drivers seat, within easy reach of driver). Chassis features Fatman Mustang II independent front suspension with rack and pinion power steering and power disc brakes. The rear is a Ford 8" rebuilt with 3.55 gears, Posie leaf springs with gas shocks. American Racing Salt Flat 15" wheels all around. Tires in good condition. Front headlights are Frenched, rear has Pontiac 50 LED taillights. Full power windows and power door locks on shaved doors. Original rear window. Interior was done by Sapp's in Milford, DE. Has a front seat from a 1987 Monte Carlo which has a 60/40 split and power controls on the driver's seat. Original backseat. Both seats recovered in slate grey and dark blue faux leather. Has 6'5" leg room up front, 3 point shoulder/lap belts, tilt steering wheel, AM/FM radio w/ CD player. Has one small paint scratch as shown in photo. Passenger side front vent window has some chrome peeling as shown. All other exterior trim is stainless steel and will not flake. Includes a photo album documenting the restoration. All bidders are welcome to see the car in person before bidding. Please ask any questions ahead of time. Vehicle is sold as-is, where-is. No guarantees or warranties. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges and liabilities. |
