1968 Plymouth Satellite Station Wagon survivor
Americas Love for the Station Wagon is coming back! and cars like this are at the top over buyers list. Nice solid car - has been in Az many yrs.. Originally was Green, w/ 1 cheap white paint job back in the 80s. Nice body, little to no rot. It was parked and not used much since the 90s Mileage shows about 125k, not that it really matters. Ive seen people swap modern Magnums with these cars for a modern underpinning and drivetrain with the classic Satellite body lines.
Americas original Suv from the 60s and 70s these are getting so much harder to find even as builders or projects, as many ended up crushed. This AZ car was recently pulled just from a carport here in Tucson and youll love how solid it is! LOW RESERVE ...bid on it to win ! So many ways to build this car. Leave as is ? Hemi swap resto-mod tow vehicle ? Super Bee Wagon ?
IF YOU HAVE LESS THEN 10 feedbacks and we contact you AND IF YOU DONT REPLY, your bid WILL be cancelled

This wagons been sitting about 20 yrs here in the Az climate, hence the baked white re-paint from 25+ yrs ago. Radiator is missing. No idea condition of the factory V8 engine, dont think it turns over by hand. So expect a swap or rebuild in its future. No signs of ANY major rust or rot on the body and Ive seen no signs of previous damage or bondo. If its there, I cant see any evidence.Chrome in nice shape. As is all the glass too. Interior has alot of sun and heat damage.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL ! Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: factory V8 small block car which seems to be locked up. No radiator or shroud. But did come with some cool nice factory options like AC and PS. Carb is missing too. Rest of under the hood looks intact and very rust of rot free. No idea condition of the trans or rearend, but it does roll around the yard fine. Brakes not working. Time for a modern EFI swap ?
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az heat has taken its toll on alot of it, but in some areas its not bad. All the glass is good Aftermarket old school radio. Its showing its age, its not a restored car by any means, but needs full resto. Middle row seat is not bolted in and may be from another Mopar. Same for the front bench seat, seeing its blue and prob should of been green. Doors work okay, RF hard to latch sometimes and stay closed. Does have the rear dual style tailgate. Drop down and opens from the side. I dont have a key to unlock it, so I cant open it. Rear window goes up and down ok. No spare, but most of the jack stuff seems to be accounted for in the back. 2 row 6 pass seating. Flip up 3rd row for storage or spare, and that lower area does have a small amt of rust (see pics)
EXTERIOR:the body is straight for its age, with minimal dents from front to rear. Nice body for being 50+ yrs old. Chrome and stainless not in bad shape either. Front grill in nice shape. Its was originally a cool Green from the factory, and has been painted the current cheap white you see now, done many yrs ago. I didnt see any obvious repair on the body, and the floors are solid and original. Even as is, this car gets ALOT of attention sitting in our yard.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can make out, basically the way it came out of the factory except some stuff replaced over the yrs from normal wear n tear. With the lack of alot of east coast rot, making it easy to come apart. . Drum brakes front and rear. Has a set of mixed and matched 14" steel wheels with actually ok tires. Prob wouldnt keep them on this, but could maybe use them on another project sometime. Minimal rust under the car -Certainly nothing like an East coast car. Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
Probably The BEST represented Wagons on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks. Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find ! Many of these cars went to the crusher 20 yrs ago Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
