Description of 1970 Plymouth Duster Duster brother to Dodge Demon, Rally Gauges, disc Brakes

1970 Plymouth DusterFactory 340 4 Speed CarSuper Solid ExampleExcellent Running 318Rare Disc BrakesNew Black Bucket Seat InteriorRare Rally Gauge PackageNice Looking Black PaintGold Painted 'Dust Trail'Duster's are a rare breed. Low production numbers and a reputation as a lite, fun & fast car led many to an early death as a race car or a poorly executed street stunt. This one has a distinguished VIN showing it was born with a 340 and a 4 speed transmission. Clearly, it has been modified but thankfully the body was spared any obvious accident or rust damage. The original engine & transmission are long gone but the clutch pedal and 340 only Rally Gauges are still in place. The 318 has been fitted with a larger camshaft, X heads, aluminum intake, etc. It runs quite well and sounds great. The automatic has a soft shift so a rebuild could be in order though it works and street drives. Also in place is the rare original small bolt pattern Kelsey Hayes Disc Brake set up.The paint is a nice driver quality with imperfections, call it a 5 footer. The paint shines nicely and the panels line up quite well. The interior was restored with new carpet & seat upholstery. Fit & finish is quite nice. The Rally Gauges were only available on the 340 cars and they are still in place. For transport we recommend Mike's Discount Auto Transport.
