I have a completely restored 1952 Plymouth Cambridge 2 dr coupe for sale. My first car, back in 1973, was a 1951 Plymouth 2 dr sedan. It was nowhere near as nice as this one. In fact I didn't like it one bit. I wanted a 1972 Nova, not an old Plymouth. This one was calling my name! The local guy, that restored this one, left nothing undone. The flathead engine was completely rebuilt. It fires first time, every time, with one pump of the gas pedal. It purrs through a set of true dual exhausts. Sounds great! The original 3 speed manual trans goes along with the sale of the car. It was replaced with a rebuilt Chevy S10 5 speed manual trans. Now it has an overdrive rather than just the 3 original choices. first is kind of a compound low. It runs down the freeway, nicely, at 65 and 70 at much lower RPMs than when stock. All new brakes, battery, radiator etc too! The rust free body was prepped and painted a "wheat" color. It shows very nicely. All chrome was replated and stainless polished. The interior is all new as well. Done at Jack's Upholstrey, Santa Maria California by Jack Plaza and his wife Aurora. They are long time favorites of the "car guy" community. Everything works! Lights, signals, dash and interior lights, gagues, horn, even the heater! The wipers are electric and work great too! Tires are all new. Period correct hubcaps and beauty rings. Most, if not all, the glass has been replaced. Weather stripping is all new. Fairly quiet ride without a lot of wind noise. Steering is spot on. No play in the steering box, no wandering. I am asking less than half of the restoration costs of this vintage Mopar. If you are looking to build one you could not make it this nice for twice the price. I am asking $15,000.00. I am somewhat negotiable. Probably not open to trades. As you can see I have no shortage of classic cars around the house. If you are interested in my entire Mopar collection, we should talk. I have a 1949 Plymouth Suburban 2dr wagon. Restoration is under way. 100% complete. Rust free body is already primed and the gloss black paint job is under way. I have newly upholstered front seat and door panels, headliner in the box and extra steering wheel. The flathead 6 cylinder engine with 3 speed trans is coming from a running driving 49 Special Deluxe 4 door sedan, which is included in the sale. I also have a 1950 Plymouth Suburban 2 door wagon. It has dented fenders and doors, but I have replacements. No engine or trans. Mostly complete. I also have a complete 1951/1952 front clip and an extra upper tailgate window for a Suburban. Next I will be listing the 1950 Mercury Eight 4 door with 85,000 original miles and then the 1961 Rambler American convertible. Blessings,DanaAny questions please call or text (805) 550-8502
