I am the third owner of this beautiful 1979 Silver Anniversary Pontiac Trans Am. The first owner had it less than 1 year. The second owner had hisgraduation presentSilver Anniversary with an automatic transmission stolen about 6 months after he got it and his father replaced it with this 4 speed car. I purchased this car from the second owner in April, 014 and it has spent it's life in climate controlled storage. It currently has about 23,000 miles on it. It has the original Pontiac 400 cu engine, osi-traction differential and 4 wheel disc brakes. It is completely stock except for the exhaust and radio. The exhaust is an aftermarket true dual system and the catalytic converter has been removed. The electronic 8 track radio has been removed and an aftermarket cassette stereo with parcel shelf surface mount speakers was installed. The only other modification that I know of is the removal of the leaded fuel nozzle restriction in the fuel filler neck. There has been some minor paint work done to the silver on the right door, ight quarter panel, oof and left quarter. I believe that it was a scratch repair to the right door and quarter. In order to not have a blend the clear was reapplied over the roof and left quarter. This is only a guess and the previous owner claims to not have known that this work was performed. It was a good job that shows very well to this day. I have had some minor surface rust touched up and replaced the door weather strips due to age deterioration. The car is a solid, ust free, ow mileage survivor. The car comes with the spare tire, pare inflation bottle, ack, he owners manual, over and various other paperwork and documentation. I've owned the car for over a year and rarely drive it. It's time to move it out of the garage and on to someone else to enjoy. Happy bidding.
