Here we have a nice 1961 Pontiac Catalina Convertible that we are selling for the daughter of the original owner. It's a rust free car from here in the Central Valley that has been well cared for. It has been re-painted and it appears as if the drivers door has been changed at some point (shows silver paint underneath) but otherwise she looks pretty original. It shows obvious signs of age but overall the chrome is decent, he top is nice (back window is not) and the interior is fair. It's been sitting since 2005 but has recently been registered so the tags are up to date. A few things have been changed under the hood like the brake booster, aster cylinder, nd battery but it hasn't really been driven much so I would not consider it 100% road worthy at this time. I think a person will need to drive it a few hundred miles locally before really knowing what else it might need. The heater core has been bypassed, he speedometer, urn signals and brake lights do not work. The volt meter, as gauge, emp light, orn, eadlights and tail lights all work fine. The power top is not working but it can be moved up and down with some effort. The power top motor does make a noise when you hit the switch but nothing happens. All the windows roll up and down, oors open and close well. Starts well cold, hoke works properly so it idles right away and seems to run very well. You're welcome to call me with any questions you may have at 559-289-5117. The car is here in Fresno, alifornia and can been seen by appointment anytime.
