Description of 1965 Pontiac GTO GTO |
PHS certified Ultra rare paint "P" in the vin#. 1965 GTO "Iris Mist" is the rarest color on the 1965 GTOs. Very few were made. Tucked away in a garage for the last 22 yrs is an all original 1965 Pontiac GTO. The REAL deal folks. It will need driver side & passenger side floor pans but the trunk pan is in good shape. Im no body man but it looks like it will need the driver side lower quarter panel also. The paint is original a faded Iris Mist. Glass is in good shape. Front window has some (2) BB shot spots that can be repaired. All is there including all the trim. Someone long ago took the GTO hood from it. M-21 2.20-1 close ratio 4spd tranny w/ the coveted 389ci 360hp Tri power that needs to be rebuilt # do NOT match. Factory power drum brakes & manual steering. 390 Safe-T-Track rear axle. Rally gauge cluster & tachometer, ear window defogger, ide & handling package, eat belts, ransistor ignition system, ower brakes, speed wipers w/ washer. The interior is all there but will need to be refurbished. You have your choice of bucket seats or bench seat w/ head rest. Folks I'm not a GTO guy but if I were looking for a 1965 GTO to refurbish this would be the one I'd pick for sure. Lots of meat left on the bone on this GTO. Refurbished, his GTO would be worth abt $80k! HURRY this Classic wont last long. |
