Description of 1972 Pontiac Firebird |
Up for bid is a 1972 Pontiac Trans Am Tribute car. It was originally a Formula car. I purchased it a couple of years ago from a guy who converted it to a Trans Am. I have added a few things over the last year or so. The car runs and drives great. The engine had been rebuilt before I bought the car. It is a 400 with an automatic transmission. I had the carburetor rebuilt and put dual Flowmaster exhaust on the car. I also put 17" Rally II wheels and brand new tires. The A/C compressor was taken off before I got the car. Most of the brackets are still there. The exterior of the car looks good (but it's not perfect). It has newer decals and paint. It is not a show car but it is a good "driver quality" paint job. I also had new weatherstripping put on the car. The car turns a lot of heads. The driver side glass has some scratches as does the passenger side. The interior is older. The door panels are the original set. They look good but do show signs of wear. It has had a dash cap installed over the original dash. I had new seat covers put on. The carpet is good and I bought new floor mats. I have not installed the seat belts. . Overall, he car is good condition. I don't have time to play with car anymore. It needs someone who has time to drive it and play around with it. I just don't have time anymore. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Deposit of $500 required within 48 hours of auction end. Deposit is nonrefundable. Remainder of payment is due within 10 days of auction end. I will assist in shipping of the vehicle if needed, ut cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
